March 2025 — PGN Stakeholder Engagement Brief
As the Sheathing pilot program continues its rollout across designated regional districts, PGN has received an encouraging wave of public feedback, stakeholder commentary, and caregiver reflections. These perspectives are helping shape future iterations of PGN’s approach and validate the growing interest in identity-neutral developmental frameworks.

Feedback from participating families has highlighted increased emotional stability, greater peer relational balance, and a reduction in early behavioral labeling among children enrolled in the Sheathing Protocol. Caregivers consistently report that children exhibit greater independence and reduced anxiety in social settings.
“Our home feels freer,” shared one early pilot participant. “There’s less pressure to define or correct. We’re just watching our child become, and that’s powerful.”
Education professionals involved in the program have also noted a shift in classroom dynamics. One teacher in a Minneapolis pilot school wrote, “It’s a calmer environment. There’s more space for kids to be who they are without needing to announce it or defend it.”
PGN’s internal tracking indicates that 94% of participating families report feeling “supported” or “strongly supported” by PGN resources, while 87% believe Sheathing has positively impacted their child’s emotional development. A public-facing dashboard of anonymized data is being developed to support broader transparency.
In the coming months, PGN will host a series of online listening sessions to gather additional insights from families, educators, and identity development professionals. These sessions are open to current participants as well as interested observers.
